We exist to lead people into a life-changing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are a multi-ethnic, Jesus-centered church, whose desire is that everyone:
- Feels welcome.
- Hears the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
- Finds a place to belong.
- Is inspired to live the life God created them to live.
What we believe…
About the Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by human authors moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. The Bible is truth without error, is the final authority of belief, morality and is completely relevant to our daily lives.
There is only one God and He is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, possessing all the attributes of deity.
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. He is the only way for someone to have their sins forgiven and their relationship with God restored. Jesus lived a sinless life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and will one day return to earth, where he will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords.
About The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under his control daily.
All people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
People were created to exist forever. Everyone will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.
Salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned through self-effort. God gave his only Son so that people could be saved from the penalty of sin. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only means for the forgiveness of sin. The gift of salvation can only be accepted by those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the only sufficient payment for their sin.
About Eternal Security
Because God gives people eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.
About the church
The church is made up of those who have accepted the free gift of eternal life by placing their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The church exist to glorify God and to share the Good News with the world.
